Waverly, a mixed-use project in south Charlotte, was recognized as the AIA Charlotte Chapter's Project of The Week for March 27, 2019. Shook Kelley developed the retail master plan, designed the retail buildings and the environmental signage for the project.

The Beatties Ford Road Corridor was recognized for a 2024 Urbie, a recognition and celebration of urban design in Charlotte. Within the Beatties Ford Road Corridor are ongoing planning and development projects led by Historic West End Partners, LISC Charlotte, and Five Points Community Collaborative with Neighboring Concepts, Shook Kelley and other members of the communuity.
