Niemann Foods was excited to expand into the drive-thru coffee space by leveraging its food retail expertise. Shook Kelley studied the marketplace and developed a friendly and distinct brand concept for coffee lovers on the go throughout the Midwest.
This new concept aims to combine “fast & convenient” with fun, flavorful, and visually exciting energy drinks. With a wink and a smile, Shook Kelley developed the name and logo to portray a friendly neighborhood spot that brightens up your day. The name alludes to the “treat” of getting a drink, and the logo communicates the warm, friendly personality of the brand. The icon visualizes a friendly face in the coffee from an overhead view of a cup. The logotype is strong and bold, with a colloquial American quality. The colors are a more broad take on classic coffee and accompaniment colors. The design of the store is meant to be visually iconic from the street, but also engaging and inviting for passersby.
